Talking about emotions can sometimes be difficult with E. She doesn’t love opening up about her feelings. To encourage her to open up, we use activities like this felt play to give the acorn emotions and talk about what might cause the acorn to feel this way. What are some things that make you nervous? What are some things that make you happy? Do you think the same things that make you happy make other friends happy?
