Making your own beautiful colored wood loose parts is so easy even a 3yo can do it! Warning... this gets messy if your assistant is actually a 3yo. The process is simple, dunk your wood piece in liquid watercolor then let dry.
Supplies & Instructions
Small cups (we use these paint cups with lids)
Pour liquid water colors in cups, dip wood in liquid water, and let dry on a tray. If you don't have an art try, use a baking tray with parchment paper.
**This method is not recommended for kids that still put toys in their mouth. The color will bleed if not sealed and get wet.
