Fingerprint Tree Lights

With Christmas right around the corner we are squeezing in a few last minute crafts. This one was inspired by the adorable paper trees by @weneedmoreglitter and the totally giftable wintery lights photo frame by @findthelittlemind

Supplies & Instructions

construction paper (black & green)

washable tempera paint

black marker

Cut a tree from the green paper, glue it onto the black paper. The snowflakes were made with q-tips and white paint. The “lights” were made with their fingers. A little tip to help colors show up better on colored paper is to mix in a little white paint with your colored paint.

My youngest opted for more of a sensory experience rather than individual fingerprint lights.
