TP Tube Bugs

Save your TP tubes ya'll! These super fun recycled bugs are sure to be hit.

Supplies & Instructions

TP tubes

Dry erase marker

Small hole punch

Hot glue gun

Paint sticks

Chalk crayons

Transparency sheets or repurpose plastic containers

Pom poms

Googly eyes

Pipe cleaners

Using a dry erase marker, draw wings on the transparency sheet and cut out. Then erase the dry erase markings from the wings. Using paint sticks or paint, decorate the TP tubes bodies and let dry.

While the bodies are drying, use chalk crayons to decorate the wings. Using a small hole punch, make two holes near the top of the TP tube. String the pipe cleaner through the holes and form the antenna. Add the googly eyes to the pom poms and attach the pom poms to the TP tube. Using hot glue, attach the wings to the bodies.
